Covid-19 Update
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and following government advice, A and S Plant Services have scaled down our services and suspended all non-essential operations.
We are operating a skeleton workforce in order to do everything we can to provide critical support and are still contactable by email or phone.
Fitters Mate Required.
A & S Plant Services currently have a job vacancy for a Fitters Mate.
Full-time with contract.
Fitters Mate required to work as part of a team, removing and installing generator sets throughout the UK.
Duties include supporting the fitters on tools and ideally will have FLT licence.
Applicant needs to be physically fit, willing to work away from home 3 to 4 nights per week (weekdays only).
Contract is for March to October but may be extended for the right applicant.
Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications and self-employed contractor applications are welcomed for this role.
Full driving licence is essential.

A and S Plant Services team moved the heavy engine this week for client Cummins.
Cummins Turbo Technology called A and S Plant Services to transport this Cummins QSV91 engine for their centenary celebrations. Here are Myles, Jason and Dan; Crane Supervisor, Crane Operator and Slinger Signaller offloading the 91-litre engine.

Wide Loads on the Road
A convoy of A & S STGO heavy haulage tractor units took to the road this week. Our 44 tonne and 65 tonne artic lorries and escort van transported a delivery of generators from Yorkshire to Kent.
